Tourist Platform for hike routes

We Are Bold was asked to work with Zakrda, a regional development company, to develop a platform that shares interesting hike routes and guides for the Carpathian (West-Ukraine’s mountain) region. Next to the platform for sharing route information, we are also developing an app that is capable of collecting route information with the ability to add rich content to POI (point of interest).

As we are located with one of our offices in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv it is interesting, and I would say our duty, to be involved in the development of the country. Ukraine is a beautiful country deserving of far more interest from tourists. It is therefore great to be involved in supporting the development of this region.

Last year I (Dennis) spend time in the mountain region of Ukraine and I must say that this part of this country invites for further exploration. Not only during winter but also in during the summertime. We were enjoying long walks in undisturbed silence and surrounded by amazing nature. With the icing on the cake being a snowstorm at a mountaintop which let to interaction with local workers giving us shelter.
